My previous stay in the city was tough due to the hurricane, and super 8 exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing, always there to help, and my husband loved the huge pool. Having a denny’s right next door was a huge plus for meals during our stay.

During my stay, I was impressed with Ken at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. He quickly found me a room despite initial reservation issues, which alleviated my stress significantly. I felt genuinely cared for, especially with Linda's sympathetic farewell as I checked out, knowing my recent struggles.

Unfortunately, while the linens were mostly clean, there was a noticeable stain on the sheets which was disappointing. Additionally, the breakfast offering could have been more substantial rather than just coffee and granola bars.

Ken's exceptional support during a reservation mix-up and Linda's thoughtful empathy at checkout truly personalized my stay amid challenging circumstances.

The outdoor swimming pool was a nice escape.

Upon entering my room, I was overwhelmed by a musty smell that lingered throughout my stay. The cleanliness was questionable, as I discovered roaches crawling near the bathroom and on surfaces. Additionally, the service was inconsistent. I often struggled to communicate my needs to the front desk staff, leaving me feeling frustrated and ignored during my visit.

The location made it easy to access everything in town quickly. The room was comfortable with decent beds. However, the TV didn’t work properly, and the outlets were hit or miss. Cleaning staff could have used a bit more attention to detail. I spotted some stains on the sheets and a bit of mold in the bathroom. I encountered some issues with the shower as well, which had very low water pressure. Additionally, the front desk assistance lacked consistency during my stay. Sometimes they were accommodating, but on other occasions, I felt disregarded, especially when it came to requests like extra towels or maintenance. Overall, the staff could improve their communication. While I appreciated the quick responses sometimes, I ended up having to follow up repeatedly about issues. It’s a mixed bag here. great location and comfortable room, but significant maintenance and service problems need addressing.

Great location close to the beach, and the outdoor swimming pool is a nice spot to chill. Housekeeping did a pretty decent job keeping things tidy too.
